What time I have to be there?
Please plan on leaving 1,5 to 2 hours early for the start – it is a long way. Do not ruin your chances for a good race by having a hectic start or getting there too late.
Where can I drop off my clothing bag?
The tents for clothing drop-off will be open starting at 1:30 am between the Reichstag and the Chancellor’s office (Yitzhak-Rabin-Straße, Platz der Republik).
Be sure to get there in a timely manner to avoid unnecessary stress before the race.

Do not put any valuables or breakable items in your clothing bag. Either take them with you or leave them with your friends and family.
The event organiser is not responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Of course – and plenty of them! Nonetheless, queues may still develop before the start, as everyone will be nervous.
When is the start?
Is there a time limit?
Yes, the time limit is 2:30 h net.
If you have to drop out:
There will be a bus at the back of the field that can pick you up. Or you can take the subway for free. The bib number is valid for travel (but only for those who have dropped out of the race!)
Will there be a warm-up zone?
There will be a warm-up zone at John-Foster-Dulles-Allee in the north of the start area. Please use only this area to warm-up.
Are there starting blocks?
Yes. The starting blocks are organised by your best marathon times in the last three years, as you stated on your registration. We only accept the times for finishing official 42.195 km races, no training times or calculated or expected times. The organiser reserves the right to accept or not accept a course. Participants with a personal best time below 1:26:00 h must be able to prove their time by certificate (only officially measured courses).
If this is your first marathon race, you will start in the last block (block F).
All participants deserve a fair race, so please be honest when you provide your race times on your registration, and enter the correct block on race day.
