The BERLIN MARATHON Jubilee Club now has a total of 1,368 members

Shortly after 2 p.m. on MARATHON Sunday, following the successful completion of their 10th BERLIN MARATHON, the new members were initiated into the BERLIN MARATHON Jubilee Club according to tradition at the Brandenburg Gate on the "Platz des 18. März".

150,000 spectators line the streets at the Bewag BERLIN HALF MARATHON

The Kenyans have once again dominated the Bewag BERLIN HALF MARATHON.

Triumphant at the end of the race, in which a total of 17,046 participants from

62 countries participated (including runners, inline skaters, power walkers,

wheel chair and hand cyclers, as well as school kids running the Bewag 3.5 km

FUN-RUN) was once again last year’s champion, Paul Kirui, in a

world-class time of 60:40 minutes, ahead of the surprisingly strong debutant

IAAF.org: Kiplagat beats Radcliffe in Puerto Rico

Just three weeks before she attempts to recapture the World Cross Country title

in Brussels, Belgium (20/21 March), Britains Paula Radcliffe has suffered an

unexpected defeat by the Netherlands Lorna Kiplagat over 10km on the road in

Puerto Rico.

It was both Radcliffes and Kiplagats first race of 2004, and marked a return

to the scene of the event in which the Briton set her World record performance
