Everyone who entered the race entry drawing (Single runner and Team) from October 19 to November 2 for the 2017 BMW BERLIN-MARATHON will receive an Email from November 30 to December 1 with the results of the drawing.
Everyone who qualified as a “fast runner” will receive notification then as well.
The Berlin Half Marathon is fully booked. More than four months prior to the start on April 2nd, 2017 the participation limit of 30,000 runners has been reached.
Only 1,500 spots are left at the 2017 Berlin Halfmarathon which will take place on April 2, 2017.
The registration for the entry drawing procedure for a chance to participate in the 2017 BMW BERLIN MARATHON begins on October 19 (12:00am CET) and ends on November 2, 2016.
Kenenisa Bekele established himself as the second fastest marathon runner ever, winning the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON with a time of 2:03:03 on Sunday. In a thrilling duel the Ethiopian superstar beat Kenya’s Wilson Kipsang. While he missed the world record of Kenya’s Dennis Kimetto by just six seconds he smashed the Ethiopian record of Haile Gebrselassie, who had won the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON back in 2008 with a then world record of 2:03:59.

Wilson Kipsang joined an illustrious group of runners when he broke the world record at the 2013 BMW BERLIN-MARATHON with his time of 2:03:23. Kipsang of Kenya, now 34, contributed to the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON’S status as the fastest marathon in the world.
