GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON postponed to August 22, 2021

In recent months, we have worked intensively on hygiene concepts and have discussed measures for the safe implementation of the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON for April 11, 2021. The concern for the health of all participants as well as the uncertainty of the future situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic at least until spring have now led us to postpone the GENERALI BERLINER HALF MARATHON 2021 once again: from April to August 2021. The new event date is August 22, 2021. The EXPO for the GENERALI BERLINER HALF MARATHON will take place as usual in the days before the race.

With the information about the postponement, all participants are being offered the uncomplicated transfer of their personalized race entries to August 22, 2021 for the GENERALI BERLINER HALF MARATHON. In this case, no re-registration is required by participants. For those participants who are not able to compete on the new date, a refund of the participation fee will be offered.

However, the Berlin Road Race - The Dress Rehearsal (“Die Generalprobe”) is also scheduled for August 22, 2021. Since it is not possible to run both races, anyone who registered for the half marathon can transfer their race entry to the GENERALI BERLINER HALF MARATHON.

Information on the detailed procedure will be sent to all registered participants of both events, including the double registrants for both races and the 10 km starters of the Dress Rehearsal, in January 2021.

Together with the participants, we are looking forward to the 40th anniversary of Germany's largest half marathon, for which the entire SCC EVENTS team continues to work with great dedication.
