Haile sets world 10 miles best

Haile Gebrselassie achieved a World 10 miles best performance

with a runaway victory at the Brabants Dagblad international road race meeting

in Tilburg, Holland on September 4th.

Gebrselassie who is preparing for next month's Amsterdam

marathon, won by over two minutes ahead of Kenya's Luke Kibet in a time of

44:24 minutes.

The 32-year-old Ethiopian after an illustrious track career beat

the previous best performance set eight years ago by Kenya's Paul Koech of 44:45 minutes.
