The start is located at Straße des 17. Juni between Brandenburg Gate and "Kleiner Stern".
Since there is no parking space available at this event. we recommend to use public transportation.
Public transportation
Your bib number is your ticket to the start and back home. We have included a 4-day-ticket for public transport (zone ABC) in the participation fee.
Nearest stops of public transportation (10-15 min walk):
- Friedrichstraße (S-, U- and regional trains)
- Hauptbahnhof (S-, U- and regional trains)

Access
- The start/finish area is only open to participants. For security reasons, only skaters with official bib number and athlethes wristband can enter the start area.
- The start area will open at 10:45 am.
- There is only one entrance to the start & finish area → map
- You will need to leave your friends and relatives behind. Dogs and bicycles are not allowed.
Please note: Anyone leaving the start area for the purpose of a warm-up must re-enter the site via the only access in the north (Paul-Löbe-Allee)!
For safety reasons, the following items are prohibited:
- Weapons of any kind, including those items that are used as weapons, batons, shock and stabbing weapons or missiles.
- Gas spray cans, corrosive, flammable substances, dyestuffs or receptacles containing substances which are harmful to health or are highly flammable (exception: standard pocket lighters).
- Bottles, cups, jugs, cans or other items that are made of glass or other fragile material.
- Bulky items such as ladders, stools, (folding) chairs, boxes. Fireworks, flares, smoke powder and -bombs or other pyrotechnics. Flag or banner poles, which are longer than 1 meter, or whose diameter is larger than 3 centimeters, and "double holders" (brought or approved flags and banners which have a "flame-retardant" material).
- Mechanically operated sound-emitting devices such as megaphones, klaxons
- Laser pointer
- Larger quantities of paper and paper rolls
- Cycles, eScooter
- Pets (except guide dogs for the blind in the guest area)
- Luggage
- Drones

This year, all skaters will receive their bib number in a double version. Both numbers must be worn during the race. There is a TAG for time keeping on the back of each number. Please do not bend it!
Please attach one bib number to each of your thighs. Attach the number clearly visible and upright on the outside of your thighs.

Helmets are obligatory for all inline skaters. Further protective equipment is recommended.
No start without helmet!

- The starting blocks are organised by your best time as stated in the registration.
- If this is your first marathon race, you will start in the last block (Block F).
- All participants deserve a fair race, so please be honest during the registration process and enter the correct block on race day!

- Time limit new for 2024: 2:10 hours net (after passing the timing mat)
- Cut-off point 1 at KM 29 at 2:59pm
- Cut-off point 2 at KM 36 at 3:21 pm
- Participants, who are slower than the time limit of 2:10 hours (after passing the time measure mat) must leave the course and continue on the sidewalk or ride in the broom waggon to the finish.
- Only participants who skate over the finish mat until the finish time will receive a medal, refreshment and massage.

As it is not always easy to provide adequate refreshments to the inline skaters during the marathon, we provide you with a water bottle. There are also three emergency refreshment stations. However, feel free to bring your personal hydration pack with your own beverage.
Approved is the following equipment:
- Hydration back or vest
- Back compartment with max 3 liters volume for hydration pack
- front pockets for water bottles (max 0.5 liters each)
- front pockets for small items (cell phone, keys, etc.)
- Drinking belt
- Compartments for water bottles (max. 0.5 liters each)
- Compartments for small materials (cell phone, keys, etc.)
Refill-options for the hydration packs are installed at each refreshment station
Backpacks and vests of all kinds with pockets/compartments with a volume greater than 3 liters are not allowed.

Changing tents are available in the northern part of the start & finish area. There are no shower facilities on site.

We kindly ask you to skate without headphones to hear the warning signs from your fellow skaters or from volunteers along the course. You would also miss the amazing cheering by the spectators and live bands.
