On Thursday morning, 1,000 charity starting places for the 2018 BMW BERLIN-MARATHON were sold out. We thank you on behalf of the “RTL Spendenmarathon” for the support of the runners. 60 Euros of the payment for those places, will go directly to the RTL Donation Marathon ("RTL-Spendenmarathon") for children in need.

Everyone who entered the race entry drawing (Single runner and Team) from October 18 to November 8 for the 2018 BMW BERLIN-MARATHON will receive an Email from November 30 to December 4 with the results of the drawing.
Everyone who qualified as a “fast runner” will receive notification then as well.
The Berlin Half Marathon is fully booked. More than four months prior to the start on April 8th, 2018 the participation limit of 32,000 runners has been reached. If you were not able to secure a starting spot yet, there are a few option left to not miss running 21.0975 km through Berlin.

Kenyans Gilbert Masai and Joan Melly took the 37th edition of the Berlin Half Marathon on Sunday. While Masai was among the top favourites, late-entrant Joan Melly was an unexpected winner.
Two significant half marathon time barriers are targeted in Sunday’s Berlin Half Marathon. While the men’s favourites from Kenya intend to go sub 60 minutes on the very flat loop course right through the heart of the German capital the top women runners plan for a pace that leads to finishing times under 70 minutes. Exactly 34,004 runners entered the 37th edition of the Berlin Half Marathon, which is Germany’s biggest and fastest race at the distance.
